Lateral Runway Excursion upon Landing

This article highlights the increasing focus on lateral runway excursions explaining that much improvement has been seen on longitudinal excursions. It lists some best practices to avoid becoming a statistic giving some detail on each of the following:-

  • Be aware of landing conditions

  • Be stabilized
